Alex can be really temperamental when it comes to things she does not understand; she always likes to be right at everything, so she can really bite your nose off whenever you correct her at something. However, while she is with her fellow jocks, it doesn't really matter if they correct her; they are her friends after all.

Being loyal is everything to her, and she'd never betray them. Because she is a jock, her "job" at school is to defeat their rival team. She nurtures a deep hatred for those that transferred from school to school. However, to friends and acquaintances, she's incredibly loyal. However, being loyal doesn't mean that she won't retaliate when her friends backstab her.

She loves to play pranks on teachers and faculty members; other than swimming, it's her favorite pastime. She always gets into hot water, but more often than not, her good looks and honeyed tongue get her out of trouble almost as quickly as she gets into it. And because she gets away with it, she always goes back for more. Although she doesn't do anything to get her expelled or suspended, she can do pretty nasty things.

She's definitely like one of the guys; even though she's a girl, she is considered a jock because of the many, many sports that she plays and excells at. This allows her to get many date opportunities, as she hangs out with guys most of her school hours. Where did it all begin? Let's see, sixteen years ago, her mother, Alyssa Fletcher, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl with lovely brown hair and green eyes. She and her husband, Aaron Fletcher, named their daughter Alexandra, Alex for short. And for most of her life, Alex was happy.

You don't really want to mess with me tonight

Then, everything changed when Alex turned 15. Her father, a police officer, was brutally shot and killed during a routine inspection. That's when it all went down. Alex's mother started drinking and partying, bringing home men everyday, locking her and them in their bedroom, now her bedroom. It was like Alyssa didn't care anymore what happened to her beautiful daughter.

Just stop and take a second

Alex took care of herself then. She didn't let any guy her mom brought home touch her; if they did, they wouldn't see light until two days later. And when she started highschool, she'd made enough money by an assortment of jobs, and her father's inheritance, to move out. And so she did. For a year, she had no contact with her mother, until she was sent a letter from her mother saying that she had married Mike Carter, a wealthy man, and that she would supply Alex with money. She tried to make up for the times that she had missed. Alex refused to take the money, but Alyssa still gave it to her.

I was fine until you walked into my life.

When Alex visited the home, she saw how much it had changed. There were expensive paintings, bowls, everywhere. And when Her new step-brother, Fred, saw her, he was hitting on her left and right. After that visit, she never went back; the only contact with her family was when her mother sent her money, even though she denied it. A year has passed since then, and Alex is still living on her own, attending Gold Coast High.
